The Australian F/A-18A HUG 2.4 would definitively have access to ASRAAM, how can this be?
Also, that’d be mean if there are two Australian tech tree Hornets but the Canadian one is premium.
Weaponry has always been used as a balancing too. I wouldn’t expect asraams.
Seems to be shaping up to be the second worst 14.0 Hornet.

Except that’s one of the major differences between the two, otherwise you end up with two extremely similar RAAF Hornets. It’s also arguably the most unique thing about RAAF Hornets, is that they used ASRAAMs. So if it’s truly HUG 2.4 being added, hopefully it will get ASRAAM added to it when ASRAAM is added to the game in general.

Looking at flight performance it will be the second worst of the 14.0 hornet for air RB.
Regardless it will be a free kill in both air and ground RB. Hornets are hilariously easy to kill with the new AA systems.

i have flown Hornets with 400 and 402 the difference isn’t that big
BOL + CAS will be very nice
It will be okay. Although mavericks from a Hornet are a bit of a joke compared to Kh38s and Hammers.
After I have them launched at me I can seriously get up, go downstairs to grab a drink, go back upstairs, sit down and still have enough time to shoot them down if they are launched from 10+ km away.
And if the Hornet gets within 10km it’s usually soon to be dead.
