That brings me to an off topic question, how much of a suggestion post do the devs actually pay attention to? Do you look at what vehicle it is and that’s it? Do they read the whole post? Do they pay attention to the polls? And do they read the comments?
Same question for the other threads made about vehicles after they’re added to the game, do the devs read any of them?
When suggestions are passed on, the whole post is too. Including the links and everything else relevant.
The polls however are not generally used as naturally, they are going to gravitate towards most things being researchable in almost all cases. Leaving no options to be used for premiums, events etc.
Feedback is always taken into consideration on all fronts.
That’s mostly because most people are of the opinion that unique tanks shouldn’t be premiums, they should go to the tech tree, and some people will disagree with me here but I believe tanks like the t58 should be event vehicles.
The F-2A is a lot more special than whatever the F-16I will end up being in WT
As far as I know about the F-16I (which admittedly isn’t all too much) it would likely end up as a slightly more advanced F-16D Barak II ingame. The F-16I would have a newer version of the AN/APG-68 radar and a better worse engine, but there is no way to know if it would have better armament until we get to see it officially.
Just for the ones who dont know, the F-16I use the same PW 229 you can find in the Ra´am in simple terms it have worse engine than the D Barak II Blk 40 and thats not all we need to take in consideration the fact that it would be a bad percentaje of channel loss present thing that affects the power output soo… this engine would likely make a little bit less engine power in WEP being installed in the sufa, overrall in performance would be similar or worse than F-16D dont expect it to be good in close combat or in dogfight + BVR unless they add a Python-4 and I-Derby ER to help it, its a really heavy F-16 and thats because of the new electronic suite, airframe being reinforced, new radar and some other things in question this F-16 is heavily orientated to ground pound and it needs to be robust, it have the capability to defend itself or be used as a fighter? yes of course but you shouldn’t look at this plane the same way you look at a block 10, 15, 20, 40, 50.
It will be yeah, but the idea of it is a bit more ground attack focused. Yes it’s an F-16 and it should still be decent at dogfighting but it’s got the extra weight an additional seat + avionics spine + (optional) CFT’s which will give it a worse flight performance but with the trade off of being made to use every single modern Israeli weapon in use currently although granted we don’t have nearly as much Israeli armament in-game to make much of a difference.
Personally no matter the performance of it I’m grinding it out immediately if it does come. I love the twin-seat F-16’s (especially with the avionics spine) and also love F-16’s with CFT’s so having both together is an absolute win for me. Literally the only reason I ever grinded out the Israeli TT is for the F-16D and now with the F-16I apparently on it’s way I’m hyped.
yes and its significantly worse while the plane is way heavier too soo… expect it to not be better than the D blk 40 unless they add new missiles to it.
You won’t know if the engine is worse or better until it comes to the game.
Next gen IR missiles are coming with gen 5 aircraft.
@KhorneFlakez1337
He doesn’t know if the engine will be worse or not.
In-game the PW-229 produces as much thrust than the GE-129 used on Block 50, but they’re also on different platforms where F-16 has less channel losses for its intakes compared to F-15.
The PW-229 produces 2500kgf more thrust than the GE-100.
6.5%, 11.2%, 7%, 7%.
F-16A has on average 7% more thrust due to less channel losses.
This means that PW-229 could very well produce around 14,000kgf at 700kph, 16600kgf at 1000kph, and 18190kgf at mach 1 from an F-16.
While I do see your point here, it’s a little late for Gaijin to use that line of thinking.
I think it has more to do with the T58 being unique and interesting, meaning it will likely sell well. I mean let’s be honest, if they give it even close to it’s real ROF it will be a vert unique and sellable heavy tank.
