did they ever put AIM-7E-2 DF on a hornet? those wouldve been mostly phased out by the time the hornets were in service with the US, let alone Australia
and it couldve been 3 more. only 1 was really top tier too

Not to mention that once again, A-4M and A-6E SWIP are being used as misdirects and aren’t actual leaks (I’m quite sure y’all can tell how salty I am at least about the A-4M).
But hey, at least we get the B-66B, a bomber we probably should’ve gotten a decently long while ago (like before the F-105D got added) and checks notes… Not much else for US aviation lol.
Probably go CF-188 as the early TT I think? Neatly avoids the complaints from the Canadian community about their vehicles basically all being play to play, and with the later Aussie one they avoid the same complaints from the Aussies.
Probably be after the Naval line, as there’s not going to be anything there until after 5th gens (Unless they do a funny add a Indian Rafale or Mig 29K. Which IMO they should, but I doubt they will for a while).

I think the US toptier is already quite saturated compared to other nations:
Maybe 1 more US aircraft could come, but they are already very capable and competitive.

Tbh, I don’t mind fighting them that much or that some variants have very small differences (The M109Gs having different machine guns depending on the nation for example).
