These arties like the M109, M44 and M55 all play the same anyway. I really wished they would change some of their gameplay elements, because currently they feel so braindead to play.
I’m just glad that it isn’t another 155mm but something larger for once

True, but that is where the difference also ends lol.
The gameplay loop will be 99% identical. Roll up to something, killl while barely having to use any skill, retreat to reload and repeat. It takes so little skill to play these arty tanks and there isn’t really much you can do currently to give yourself a challenge in them.

I find HE only, especially the artillery ones hard to play.
To be fair none of the trees I play have a LR one.
So I’ve had a and total of one good game in the M44 and I don’t think I’ve ever had one in the M109.
I think the first human will land on Mars before that happens…

To be fair, not all SPHs are braindead to play, some of them are pretty hard to use for various reasons, like massive size, very low muzzle velocity, lack of protection, etc
Stuff like the PzH 2000, Vidar and 2S19 are pretty braindead though, I’ll agree with that

The M109 is also stupidly easy, it usually gets overlooked a lot because the Vidar and Pzh2000 exist.
My entire gameplay loop in it is just drive up to people, one shot them with very little effort, go into cover to reload and do it again. I can play it with like 2 semi active braincells and still do well in it.

Normally I would say that they are C&P so no devblog needed, but I can’t use that line this time because barely any of the other leaked vehicles is much more interesting lol.
EDIT: then again after the initial Hornet dev blog for the March update, only the Swiss premium Hornet has gotten a dev blog. So I doubt we will see a Commonwealth Hornet devblog unless it’s a premium.

Well, the M109 is one of the better SPHs, I was mostly talking about the G6, Lorraine 155 Mle.50 and the WW2 SPHs
The most enjoyable part about the more post-WW2 SPHs is trying to blast planes out of the sky anyways
