Tbf, the Merkava only needs to be armored against rocks thrown by children and debris from Palestinian homes its bulldozing, so it doesnt really need armor like a real MBT (bit of a joke but not really)

If Norwegian vehicles are hosted in Sweden but arent part of an exclusive Swedish subtree, then how is it that Germany couldnt eventually receive one? Its been said many times that for a support nations vehicles to be exclusive to a main nation, they need to be part of a proper subtree. I just dont see the logic here stopping Germany from getting a Norwegian vehicle at some point.

I have my own question here… What is a subtree?
Because since India is a subtree, it doesn’t need any dedicated lines. Norway isn’t, so maybe that means it needs tech tree vehicles. But by that logic we’d have Argentina as a German subtree, which was denied in the past.
So is it just that a subtree is locked in and unchanging, while not being a subtree, even if it’s functionally identical, just means that Gaijin leave themselves the option to change their mind?

Thats exactly how I understood it too, which is why I dont get why Germany couldnt receive a Norwegian vehicle if needed.
This whole “Gaijin rules” thing honestly feels like classical civilizations before written laws

I mean, from what smin said it seems like germany will get a domestic AA so… is gajin gonna go back on their word and give us that mockup SLS Mk3 or maybe that weird suggested spaa truck, or merely give us 4 launch tubes on the flarakrad, we’ll see.
Also i wonder if in the near future gaijin may consider adding vehicles based on renders and then change them once fully developed or leave them like that if canceled.
Nations that dont have a sub tree are distributed to whatever nation has connection to them or whereever they are most needed.
Germany has no need of Norwegian vehicles, and as already mentioned, Norway currently has a home in the Swedish tree. We dont have any plans to add anything Norwegian to Germany.
