and having 4 additional SAMs when you only need one is some how not pointless…? like I run the Stormer HVM and average like 4 air kills a game with it I dont normally need the AD or the Strela or OSA

im not reading 11k+ messages to find the answer to: why are we getting short to medium air defenses when we are in dire need of medium to long? 5km altitude for the IRIS-T? i had planes fly above 10km yesterday. “about 10-12 km with an altitude reach of about 5 km” maybe im understanding this wrong, but 5km altitude is not enough anymore
na see we are already getting something the Badger there we go our one ground vic and the vanguard, I expect maybe one more but I doubt we will get more then 3 additions since we have had a pretty steady stream of additions

Surely gaijin will give every nation a new spaa of roughly similar capability and not gimp certain nations right. And surely this all happens in the next update. Gaijin would never withhold copy paste vehicles for no reason but FOMO right? Like how you did with the Mig23, Mig29 and how you are still withholding leo 2a5 with extra armor for the german tree.
And surely gaijin wont respond to this or ever mention it because its part of your strategy

But yeah I dont expect a new SAM for Britain. Just odd Sweden who have the excellent ITO are one of the first nations to get the IRIS-T system…Well least we can now bug report the absence of a Spectral flares on the Typhoons BOL rails!
In that regsrd friendly reminder sweden is one of the devs fsvourite nations. Officisly stated in the dev blog

same I fully expect the UK to be one of the last nations to get a SAM that is better then 12km similar to how long it took for us to get a competitive plane after the FGR2 lol
Presumably snail is still working on how to implement the multi-vehicle systems that offer the longer range for most countries.
They recognize standoff CAS is an issue, and stated as much in a Q&A, (though immediately after saying that they added Su30 w/ x6 KH38’s so who knows what the plan is here).

The captor had it even before tws+ was added and with the addition of tws+ it got even worse
Every mechanical radar with tws+ is a as bad as the captor was before they added tws+
2 copy-paste SAM systems that were only added as players requested them when others got them? Not exactly pampering lol.
3 SAM systems in 6 months after years of HVM CBT for a large % of players is also not pampered for years xD
I think it’s because players are flying low to avoid the Pantsir, and since Sweden often gets paired with Russia, they probably wanted to give Sweden an SPAA to counter low-flying CAS. For some reason, Gaijin seems adamant about making whichever team Russia is on have the most powerful SPAA and CAS…

You though only 4 missiles was bad? How about only 2!!!
Just kills Typhoon as a CAS option Brimstone is not a stand off FnF weapon you are knife fighting Pantsirs and now IRIS-T and ITO-90 on the same team…Going to have a very bad time of it.

The UK is getting everything that the community asks for… Like, for real.
Lots of new SPAA, Light tanks, one of the best and biggest air TT’s with the Gripen, Tornado GR.4 (CAS) and Typhoon. Not only that, but also the BIGGEST naval TT in the game.
GB also has the most nations inside of the TT, South Africa as sub, Poland, Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Kuwait Desert Warrior, Australia and a Zambian vehicle.
Gaijin, we want the Fox and Scimitar and more light tanks - and the UK got it.
While most nations are still lacking everything that the UK has, and get.
The UK is also the third biggest nation ingame content wise.
So please… Don’t tell me that the UK isn’t being pampered.
It’s IMHO not true, especially not when looking at the things that i’ve just mentioned.
