i wonder if they’ll thicken the smoke from SAMs anytime soon, it feels like they produce so little smoke compared to videos of SAM launches

Everything, even the speed radar on the F4, is better than the Captor-M. I’ve fully researched four nations, but I’ve never encountered a radar as broken as the Captor. The number of false (ghost) targets and the issues with lock-on in helmet-mounted sight mode are impossible to explain in any way other than the developers simply not wanting to fix an obviously broken radar

Like, it is nice, but with missles having only 10-12km range and only up to 5km above ground. Im sure that anything that will get into that range it will have hard time…but with top tier cas having ordinces that has much longer launch range then 12km…dont know how to feel about it. For sure will me much smaller target then party bus that is ItO
apparently its supposed to have 8km altitude but surely thats just a typo on the blog… right? :clueless:
Unit has the Radar built onto the top of it to my knowledge it can be used stand alone?

Norway is currently under the Swedish tree. So Germany would not receive something like this.

ghost targets is from TWS+, not just Captor. HMD has problems for a long time for everyone
it’s the fire control radar, enables it firing, nothing else, still need a search radar to work properly
Does that mean germany wont get an new SAM this patch?

I know, but it’s the Captor that has the most noticeable issues with this. While it’s not that obvious on other radars, with the Captor it’s a real problem.
upd. My thought — though it even sounds stupid — is that one of the most advanced MSARs has such issues. I get that it’s silly to compare a game to real life, but still.
