this is all nice and welcomed, but it’s 2025, and we still have maps at top tier like Ardennes Domination #2 that spawn jets into SPAA range, and the airfield itself is barely outside SPAA range itself too.
And if that’s not bad enough, the airspace is so small you can’t even climb away.
Gaijin added air-to-ground missiles with 40km range, but “forgot” that not all the maps support it.
What else uses the irsts missiles in germany?
Stop looking at maximum range and think about how dangerous this system will be within those ranges.
No having to akwardly guide a missile it is a fire anf forget SAM it has missiles that can be used at any ranges and they are (unflarable)
This is death to anything that enters this systems envelope.

Id go up against a pantsir instead of a angry ass
un-flarable IRIST any day of the week.
The pantsir is easy to dodge if you know what you’re doing.
a 10+km un-flareable IR missile not so much.
Unless it has the same traits as the TY-90 which will just slam into the ground if you point your planes nose towards the ground lol

I agree but the same is for the Pantsir, a Pantsir cannot shoot down a Su-30 with KH-38s before it can launch them
A pansir dpesnt meet su30s everyone else does

I thought we would see multi vehicle sams as in radar fcs etc. Not sams with trailers lol.
I know that, we can also bring the Rapier up to top tier…It’s so finished and great…
I mean one benifit to this is… quite glorious

Only multi system ones. Iris-t boxer is in development.
