The Aim-26B woundnt be terrible per se like the AIM-7D or R-3R. From what im told it even has data link but yeah it wouldnt be too competitive

no, neither the pantsir or the adats or the flakrad, tor, etc. They are getting 20Km more than any other spaa, this is huge, and is pretty interesting to see that people are not complaining that only one nation gets something like that, when the pantsir came out the whole eng community was on fire, “Why only russia gets a missile that has 20km”( being 8km more than the flakrad ), and now is not “8km more” is 20km of difference xD
But on the other hand, I like the idea of introducing OP spaa. I don’t want to be killed by a plane that I can’t do anything to it, but the fact that the community is reacting totally differently because it’s germany is a fact

Pantsir will still be good, can it hit targets 40km away no…But neither can the IRIS-T likely engagement and kill windows will be closer to 20-25km Aircraft are not just going to fly in a straight line and not try to defeat the missile.
Pantsir still has an incredible Radar, lethal missile and 12 missiles loaded ready to go.
Comparing it to ADATS or Flakrad is disingenuous
Would I have liked each nation to receive a new sam of course but that’s not how Gaijin works and after Pantsir domination I am not against another nation/s coming in and dominating for a little while.
