Big difference between a teaser and an announcement. A teaser is exactly that, no more, no less.
pretty good for 7.7, whats its m/s climb speed and top speed? + turn rate?
ok how about this would you say a lot of nations are gonna get their required stuff that they needed for ages ( baring russia)
cos lets be real if we have another update without a f-2 or new spaa for Italy japan and Israel, I’m really questioning what gaijin is spending their time making tbh
defo not staying 7.7 lol
Maybe at 8.7 but I don’t want this at 9.0 lol
no way that thing stays 7.7 with better stats than the cl13b which is 8.7.
No flares and no Air to air missiles so I think it’s fair
Wonder if you can set a fuze on the nassers
honestly, Pantsir is outdated too.
but another fact is, there isn’t good choice for Russian new top spaa(longer range, high mobility, fnf or auto piloted)
the closest choice is Tor m2 with auto pilot missile, but still not a good match of fnf missiles.
this time the situation turned around
I would say you should stay tuned to the news, as this is just the first day and the first blog.
Is probably going to be in the 8.7 range.
@Smin1080p_WT can I ask, Since the Marut has no flairs and missiles how likely would it be above 8.7 ?
my fella it doesnt matter if its outdated, it ruled top tier for legit years on end without anyone ANYONE to have a counter to it or even be on that level and from the looks of the leak and possibly the teaser a lot of other nations still wont be on that level. so at the end of the day it doesn’t matter if its outdated it can stay outdated for a while longer while some other nations finally slog and catch up at minimum…
I wonder if this is going to be a part of the turret basket implementation.
probs count as the damn turret ring for some god damn reason…
I dont know. They’re connected and this was a can of worms Gaijin thought was best to open. Just want to make sure the energy is carried on from the Abrams and Leopards. They did say there was plans to bring such to more models and maybe that’s part of the motor to drive it.
Haha, hunter F1 to 7.7 then
And things like the swift and javelin even lower than that
Besides dedicated NCTR, what things did the F-15/16 have that the F-14D didn’t?
Very convenient you say no Aim-54…
F-15C MSIP II: No ARH missile, Way worse radar, worse in the low alt dogfight, less counter measures, less survivability/efficiency due to no backseat, no IRST, no TCS, poor EW/ECM capability.
F-15E: No ARH missile, Way worse radar, worse in the the dogfight, less counter measures, no IRST, no TCS, poor EW/ECM capability (has a way better cockpit though, that hud is amazing)
Like payload, linger times, etc…
Eh. The only reason export countries wanted the F-15 was because Grumman wasn’t offering the F-14B when the F-15C MSIP II was being offered. It got to the point where countries were asking for the AWG-9 and Phoenix missile on the F-15 because the TF-30s didn’t cut it.
?? Grumman makes the parts. They could make more whenever they wanted too (they had plenty of parts anyways this was never an issue with the F-14…). There are a couple reasons why the F-14 was retired but that’s not one of them. Clearly you need to read up on your Tomcat history. The F-14 was retired because it and Grumman were hated politically. Nothing more than temporary issues that every fighter goes through used as scapegoats. And the Airframe was not outdated. They used it to test the F-22’s thrust vectoring and control surfaces. It easily kept with F-16s and even more so F-15s. Infact, the Tomcat beat the F-15 in 2 official dogfights in front of Iran and Japan.
