Israel had no SPAA to speak of, China had TOR, not as good as Pantsir but they are getting something similar, Sweden is a minor nation too but they had ItO90 and Japan also received something
Germany has had to deal with the worst top tier SPAA for the longest time, makes sense as to why Germany would be the one to receive SLM.
Russia isn’t even getting anything in this update too lol.
The only outliers are Italy, France/UK/USA, which Gaijin will follow up in the future for sure.
We have to just hope its September and not March

Whole premise of game is to have military stuff from different countries. Ofc it cannot be 1:1 historically accurate but a degree of realism in content and mechanics is to be expected.
And anyways, there is no reason to drag down the vast number of US additions. You have no good reason for this tbh. It’s not like ppl are asking for the death star

Oh no I know its simple give the 4 nations ARMs while the other 6 get nothing seems fair, its fair that these 4 nations are being left to rot so ya know

Isreal is rumored to be getting an approximate equivalent (Spyder AIO) and Japan is also getting something, tho im not sure if its something of equivalent range or just adding a multi-vehicle radar for the existing Type-81(C).
Its not a case of “absence of relevant systems for minor nations”, its just an absence of relevant systems for some nations.
Yeah, this major update should have been
Israel, Italy (UK as well as they virutally use the same system ), and Japan. US ideally as well. Maybe Germany but I think the Flakrad is mostly fine (for now)
France, Sweden, China and Soviets next major.
Just feels like they are going backwards

Japan is getting a new type 81 with radar and a ARH missle tho range will be not the best of around 14~15km

nah flaradrak aint fine at all, Ito argurably better, 8 missiles that doesnt need reload, more manuverable

still better then ADATS the only reason ADATS is 11.7 is because it can kill tanks if it couldnt it would be a 10.3 SPAA
Range isnt everything, having only 2 missiles at a times on the FlaRak and being unable to choose when to reload makes it borderline worthless as an GBAD in the current meta. It cant even duel helis, never mind the current jets. The ADATS on the other hand can.

Which is why Id leave Sweden and France for the next major.
But relatively speaking. Flakrad compared to ADATS, Imp Chaparel, Type 81 (if the target isnt point blank) and Otomatic looks pretty good to me.

The only thing the ADATS can do is fight helis (or stupid americans in the A-10C that fly in straight lines)

Will they hamstring it with Python 4 or god forbid Python 3?
Will it just be Python 5?
If SLM will in fact be player controlled, will they match its abilities with something like I-Derby-ER?
This vehicle really has the potential to be anything from a Champagne-Chaparral to a No fly zone enforcer lol.

anti tank isnt very good either since if u spam missiles, it phased through the opponents tanks, literally a feature(it happened ALOT to me), wobble alot, the sight wobble makes me wanna puke, you have to come to a full stop to fire, and when u at speed and want to stop that thing does not want to stop wobble
