My guy it’s not like you’ll be able to lock a target from 100km away and just forget about it, it has IR terminal homing that’s used against stuff like building with IR Scene Matching and ships, ain’t nobody using these against tanks, and the warhead is very bad against concentrations of tanks as well.
I think they just call both the ER and the normal one JASSM now because they only produce ER versions now.
germany doesnt offically use PIRATE its been used on test aircraft it shouldnt come as an actual thing gaijin obviously chose to leave it out so there are some difference

Meh, even if it does come on a test EF if it ain’t coming with AMK as well i won’t be grinding it, IRST is nice but not a game-changer, especially because it doesn’t get a LRF so no ranging, the tool most useful in sim as well.

If it had a warhead like the 3t UMPK i’d consider it a bit dangerous, but even if added now it would not shake up the meta, like at all.

It’s a 1000lbs stealthy rocket propelled glide bombs it would absolutely screw the meta since you’d be well out of range and untouchable by AA…
