If the J-10B/C was coming this patch then it’s weird neither of the two leakers didn’t have it on their list. Not that the list is a full list of vehicles coming, but it would be a pretty important vehicle to not include on the list.
This game is mainly about air though… If it wasn’t ground RB would’ve had CAS removed years ago. Not saying I agree with that, but that’s just how it is.

There’s about 5% F-16 in the F-2, it’s by all means a new design that was only shaped around the F-16 for “budget concerns” (read: US fear of Japanese industry in the 80s) of the original design that looked something like this:
The actual F-2 is barely an F-16, using new domestic internals, domestic composite structure, an extended fuselage and enlarged elevators, broadened leading edge extensions, completely new wing, new intake, new cockpit and nose section and a domestic flight control systems with control modes very different from those of US aircraft. Even the licensed F110-IHI-129 engine has minor changes, even if these would be irrelevant for WT.
For a Chinese example, calling F-2 “just an F-16” is like calling J-10B “just a Lavi”, just because there’s some influence doesn’t change the fact it’s an entirely different aircraft.

It wont be out of the fight. Depending on the armour scheme of ships like this new french BB, she might be one of the more tanky due to her internal layout and the supercharged shells can meaningfully threaten most ships

Have you seen Dunkerque? It’s turret repair simulator because they’re both very close together.
I get that she might have a been a good ship in real life, but for WT Gameplay… your turrets are always going to be knocked out lol.
It’s a common misconception the F-2 was based on the Agile falcon, while the project outline was based on SX-3, which was derived from it, the actual research/design basis of the F-2 was the block 40. From which it’s a lot easier to see just how much it was changed over US versions.

Most missiles would have no effect on capital ships and certainly less effect via HE than most bombs you see in naval.
They will be best introductory some sort of coastal and bluewater divide whereby coastal takes most of the missile ships as a natural evolution of the top tier frigates we see in game
