Krons and Sevestipol were 10.6% and 11.6% completed respectfully
which im fine with as long as gaijin doesnt give them fantasy stats (yes gaijin im sure russia with next to zero naval experience in the interwar built a 12inch gun that has more HE and similar pen to inter war 14inch guns and more pen then mid to late war 12 inch guns)
“I’m not saying Gaijin use them, I just wish they would”
I just don’t like Gaijins arbitrary system of exceptions and inequal treatment of similar cases for no reason other than subjective dev judgement.
I didn’t mean they will be added, just that Gaijin doesn’t really follow strict rules at all and just do whatever they want, while we try to make sense of it with what’s essentially guesswork. The point being we can’t know for sure what will and won’t be added unless Gaijin release rules and stick to them without exceptions, which I doubt will ever happen.
at least gaijin cant give them fantasy stats as we know how they worked, it is funny how much gaijin tries to push the idea russia was a naval power tho
Q: Designing a ship (not a boat) is a very serious matter, it cannot be seriously redesigned if mistakes come up when it’s already been built. That’s why everything is calculated in advance, and in truth, a ship is born long before it reaches the shipyard, it’s born in the final construction blueprints. Will navy branches include projects that were never realized in metal, but existed only in blueprints, not to mention those that never got past the stocks?
A: Yes, we’re not ruling that out, especially with regard to projects that were completely ready, but whose construction was never finished for one reason or another.
I’m sorry but I don’t believe in captured stuff anymore, sure they are cool but I rather have sub nations to have their fair share of tech to represent them. I hate having sub nations announced with only a couple of things
Haha yes.
Kron have absolutly fantastic wep.
But this 380 mm it’s literally Bismarck gun and turret.
USSR buy it from Krupp, but didn’t get.
Yes Krons and Sevestipol were 10.6% and 11.6% completed respectfully. But Sevastopol look like more realistic. Such powerfull gun could created only experience engineer and irl ussr buy german 380 precisely because they couldn’t create own 305-mm.
And im sure you arent the only one. But sadly that is a Gaijin fault. Im sure that Hungary had a much more interesting original vehicles to be added…but they rather went for copy and paste. Same with Hungarian air. Where is the WW2 stuff? And other planes/jets?
C&P isn’t even my issue, it’s the fact they announce subs but only add a couple of things which at that point is just why.
Atm there around 7 Indian tech when their sub was announced their was only 4 iirc, while Australia got 13 pieces of tech but yet still not considered a sub even though all of their tech is in Britain baring the AIM’s.
Kentucky was afloat and completed up to the first deck when she was finally cancelled in 1957ish. I’d wager we’ll probably get one of the BBG-1 proposals since it’s similar to Gneisenau’s case. Illinois could be interesting, though, especially if they wind up going for the proposed 8"/55 refit, where she gets 4 x 4 8"/55 RF guns.
Aye, if the estimated performances are correct, it’s quite likely that Montana will probably wind up being implemented since she’s a direct Yamato counter.
And one of those already has a what-if fit
Plus, this one isn’t even the finalized Amagi but rather the 1919 Preliminary design, albeit with time-traveling 1930s 410mm and 120mm turrets. Plus, a random seaplane grafted atop one of the turrets.
Frankly, I really don’t see the issue with the paper ships. They’re really nothing burgers, and IMHO, as long as they follow the blueprints to the letter, they’re a perfectly valid addition.
This is the only montana the US could get as its the only one that physically started construction, every other paper ship in game started construction at some point, hull wise, the montanas never did
