Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Yeah…

But soviets suffer, so looks like they might be getting R-27EA

Given the fact that the AIM-120C-5 was datamined a while ago, I wouldn’t be surprised if the June update has it and the R-27EA.

Striker, not LAV. USA belongs only Striker, LAV-300, LAV-600.

LAV III, LAV 6.0, LAV 700 was made by General Dynamics Canada.
But many prototypes tested in USA. So part of them can be added to the USA.

Oh no, this is practically a giant can launcher. I wonder if reducing the amount of ammunition carried could solve the issue of the high ammunition load in the magazine.

My 12 missiles and incredible Radar just arent enough…

Boo hoo hoo

great idea for a decoration

If you can pen her, she will be abysmal the internal layout is as bad as Yamato. It depends how many of the historical nerfs the ship had to undergo gaijin add. IRL she had to have her belt armour made in 2 pieces not one, and of weaker face hardened armour rather than cemented armour. This would make her vulnerable to virtually any battleship calibre gun.

But gaijin will probably just add her based on the paper plans which are OP (unless you can pen her which most can’t). If she is added now she’s also not going to be fighting her German and British equivalents.

Anyone can draw ludicrous plans on paper. The brits did it a lot with for example incomparable. But the brits weren’t so stupid as to draw things they couldn’t actually build and then lay them down too. (Though incomparable could easily have been built). But due to soviets direct answer to Stalin soviet sovetsky was laid down and they then later had to change things and ended up with a rather pathetic ship.

With the new naval rank VII, will there be RP/SL cost reduction for rank VI and below?

They didnt do it with rank VIII ground and air either.

Only one among those two condition was considered, not both. And face hardened armour is treated same as cemented armour in War Thunder naval right now.

Not actually. Incomparable wasn’t draw specifically, only concept was mentioned by Fischer, and there are no British shipyard that could build such long ship. Hood was the limit of British shipyards on both WW1 and WW2.

US also gets LAV AG, the LAV with HSTVL gun, LAV AT, and the LAV ATM.

Face hardened needs to be reported eventually then as it’s less durable and will just crack the plates.

Incomparable was never fully specified out but the general premise was doable and iirc they made the line drawings but never internals. Particularly as the UKs plan was to enlarge 30 docks across the empire to fit the G3 and perhaps L3 ship designs at the time. Obviously these would be cancelled by WNT so they were never expanded but the technical limitations of not being able to build even the armour or structural reinforcements are different imo to not having a dockyard big enough at that moment.

Other examples better than incomparable would be something like the L2 design (my favourite because it’s like Hood).

But my point is that SS is particularly irritating as it couldn’t have been done it just got started due to Stalin being a menace and I’ve read in two books that the soviet designers worried it may have cracked in two upon being launched.

LAV-25 USMC?

GDLS-C is still GDLS, it just happens to be that the factory that makes them is located in Canada

I have a dream…of Easter EU TT

With recent news skyranger become more valuable to cover spawns from drones. This will prevent fire to AA and give it more time to live. We need skyranger already!

It’d be my favorite on par with GB, Sweden and Israel
