Brother the F-14D didn’t change anything that would affect firing missiles except for the radar. It doesn’t have new hardpoints or anything. Infact, it has link 16, which is the reason. It’s the only F-14 compatible with the AMRAAM. You can look up the testbed F-14 models.
yeah thats what I assumed, which means still wont be better then the Desert Warrior but hey finally a tank to run with the rapier now its 9.7 lol
The F-14A+ is the F-14B. This model was never in service and was simply a testbed for future F-14D components like radar, EW, and ejection seats.
If the F-14D comes in this modern ARH meta without AMRAAMs, it’s essentially DOA by a long shot. It’s just now getting equivalent avionics for it’s tier. If they wanted to add the F-14D without AMRAAM, they should’ve added in on the side during the F-15A update. I completely agree.

Which one? Usually vehicles that aren’t in service have been Tech demonstrators, prototypes or abandoned projects. Can’t think of any on order Vehicles that got added early
