All-or-Nothing armor scheme doesn’t really work ingame, especially bad when the ammo is stored in the barbette that is not even that thick against the contemporary ships of other nations.
The chance of you getting ammoracked in Colorado, Tennessee, Arizona is higher than other nations. Like you are 100% guaranteed to lose 2 of your turrets lol.

Besides, we still have italian planes in german tech tree, from times before italian nation were added. Wouldn’t mind the same treatment.
I doubt 12km will be good enough but we’ll see but my hope for US naval isn’t high anymore.
I do hope HMS Lion/Temeraire (1944) becomes a thing it has improved 16 inch guns that allowed for heavier shells, 6 dual 4.5inch turrets and an AA group similar to that of US ships

Distance in War Thunder means about 15km, or well within Iowas gets exploded zone.
tbf in NEC the engagements are way longer since the maps are based on real areas
12km is usually the spawn distance of almost every map so im just basing it on that.
