Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Nah, sadly I also still use it

It’s a different design… but this kind of small difference has been overlooked in some vehicle models in the past. We’ll have to wait for more solid confirmation to say more.

So finally had a chance to compare to Hunter F1

Hunter F1 (spaded) vs HF-24 (stock)

Max Speed (sea level) 1,108 kph vs 1118 kph
Climb Rate 55 m/s vs 52.8 m/s
turn time: 31s vs 30.3s
Take off run: 820m vs 820m

Same main guns (though Hunter F1 has slightly more ammo) but the HF-24 has a decent secondary loadout.

So based upon that. the BR is wrong because its nearly as strong stock than the Hunter F1 is spaded. It will be 9.0 or maybe even 9.3. If it stays at 7.7 then every single British aircraft between 7.0 and 9.0 need to drop down to below 7.7 instantly

@Smin1080p_WT Recalling about that reshuffle conversation from earlier, here my thinking if SA were to be re-added like helicopters are atm. With this concept I’ve only added stuff from above rank V and you can ignore the Class 3P, I hope you can give your thoughts on this.

How is it possible that Marut has a 7.7 BR?

Its either massively wrong or gaijin just wants to make it stupidly OP to make it look a lot better than the British TT equivalents

So that it can see some of its old mates (joking) like 152s.

Trees are not organised in this way and any potential reshuffle would not yield a result like this. Linear progression would still follow.

I assume the BR for the HF-24 is completely incorrect and will be changing?

If not, I have a LOT of BR change suggestions to write for next BR update

Right ok, I’ll take a note of this for future concept ideas.

I think what he means is, if there were to be a reshuffle tech tree’s were to still have the same logic as ground and air ect still.

If we are talking 1991 it would be APG-70.

And the -135 one literally says it’s part of a system, so I think it is integrated

We should not only look at the missile’s range but also at the technology. Maybe the HN6 is just a manpad, but the HN6B has been much improved

“FN-16 is a new generation of individual air defense missile that uses infrared/ultraviolet imaging guidance heads, which can attack in all directions. It has the ability to ignore launch, high accuracy, and strong anti-interference ability. It is mainly used for field air defense, intercepting fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and drones invading at low and ultra-low altitudes. This is the foreign trade version of HN-6B, so the performance is almost the same.”

  • Missile diameter: 72mm
  • Weight: 16kg
  • Max speed:750m/s
    *Overload:18G
  • Range: 500-6000 meters
  • Fuze: Laser proximity fuse
  • Reaction time: 5s

fires a missile with almost the same stats and the same IRCM as the TY-90=PL5EII=PL8B, I can see that a Chinese DCA with the HN6"B" can be more effective than a 2s6 even if the range is less

I’ve not been paying attention today, please tell me you’re just continuing the joke and it’s not actually that

Interesting to have the devblog season kick off on a Monday as I think that’s one of the least likely weekdays

Interesting how short the devblog seasons have started since last June, I need to look at the list again but I swear if it’s a Monday start the dev stream is on a Friday on the same week
