As for future ships, there are none, these are the peak. Italy did design a ship which was essentially a more bluewater optimised (Littorio’s were optimised for the med), and heavier ship with slightly worse anti torpedo protection but 16" guns for the Soviets though, but the Soviets basically stole what they liked, and then stole the Pugliese system too, and then tried to copy it to design the Sovetsky Soyuz class.
Yes it’s paper, but this isn’t a big 3 nation that laid down everything, like the UK Italy only laid down things that it could build realistically (both logistically and politically), unlike Russia or Germany.
