We still don’t know this.
For all we know, SLM could end up just being some static map object, and they could throw AiO under the bus by limiting it to Python’s. (If these even end up getting added at all).

Yes, we’ll have to wait and see. But assuming we do. The arguments against Brimstone getting buffed fall apart rather rapidly.
And for the most part. I want Brimstones for ASB not GRB, but this is the arena I have to fight to get them added in, which is just annoying

Even if we do get SLM, only Germany gets one. Not very fair for all those nations who’d lack any sort of counterplay.

So why would you want to recreate the exact same CAS/AA dominance duopoly, in which one nations AA is the only counter to its own CAS, but now in the form of GER-EFT + SLM instead?

I’ll clarify why people thought everyone would be getting SAMs this patch.
In the Community Notes #4 back in December 2024, Gaijin said everyone would be getting new SAMs in 2025. They just never specified when in the year they would be coming.
In the Community Notes #6 article, Gaijin specified that this coming patch we can expect “several” SAMs, not all of them at once. That’s what makes what you said not news, but I personally didn’t catch that detail when the article came out.

Because the SAL - Brimstone 1 is by far the weakest top tier AGM and an AGM that the Typhoon never equipped. So it either needs to be replaced with SAL-Brimstone 2s (what it should have ALWAYS had) or MMW Brimstone 1s (what the Tornado Gr4 should have always had)
Just relegating some the of the weakest top tier GRB nations, nations 100% dependent on CAS to do anything at top tier. to not being able to play top tier at all because htye get aritifically nerfed Brimstone 1s and the soviets get the paper KH-38MT is just unfair
