Even better then :D
Generally it comes down to the practicalities of some of them. If it can be dual mode and hit ground too (like Penguin) then its naturally of higher priority for the game than weapons that have extreamly limited use.
So efforts and resources are focused on weaponry that has the widest practical use and appeal.
Thats not to say some wont come. Some already have.
I mean, hopefully. After all J-10B was leaked along with the J-11B and vehicles leaked in the past may appear in future updates as well, including this one.
Then again I wouldn’t expect Gaijin to make it very good, it has a huge debuff in there being essentially zero reliable information on its systems (J-10C ironically has more since it is exported) and the state of VT-5 doesn’t give me much hope, J-11B has its accuracy issues as well.
China can honestly be a major nation with how much vehicles that can be added, yet the pace in terms of additions in general is quite slow.
J-10A isn’t what you would call bad but it’s definitely no Eurofighter or especially Rafale, J-11B is more so a sidegrade. J-11B could’ve been added with the F-15C since they perform quite similarly. Even an early J-16 wouldn’t feel out of place considering we already have airborne AESA radars in the game and mid-late 2010s fighters, J-16 fits that timeline.
I’m definitely happy that China is getting a new SPAA, I’m very happy that Japan finally gets the F-2A (I wanted it for so long since I got bored playing the F-15J), and Sweden actually getting a F/A-18 on par with the one currently in the American tech tree, but not having the J-10B come as well would be a very strange decision imo. I wonder if it is because Gaijin intended to add the J-10B earlier but had to delay it because of the lack of information to model it as I described above.
It’s kind of strange though the Kormoran hasn’t at least been added to the other aircraft that use it. The German F-104G and, ASSTA1 and the Italian Tornados.
It is nonetheless a shame that the availability of weapons for aircraft is largely dictated by their usefulness in a ground gamemode that requires you to play tanks.
Heck, take Brimstone for example. Wouldnt be an issue with full LOAL mode 3 operation within the contecxt of ARB/ASB.
Yeah, or even just that. There is a tiny argument about modeling new weapons, but ones already in game?
Its just a bit wierd. Heck the GR1 can carry 4x AJ168s. they arent Sea Eagles but would be “similar”
As weve already mentioned, these are exclusive to the event MFG for now
How long is “for now” though? The MFG was released in winter 2022, approaching three years ago.
Not anytime soon or anything to annouce for the foreseeable future at least.
Hey, there was a leak for a plane that’s on a ship. Do you think it will be researchable or only available as a scout plane for said ship?
Air EC map 130km x 130km it’s not enough for aircraft 12.3 - 14.0 (Air RB & SB)
At least size 160 km X 160 km
He’s definitely not going to comment on any leaks
Always was winter
Thats the one of the largest sizes currently possible in game.
i mean that would confirm the model is being work on
Basic math shows that 256km x 256km would be tight going edge to edge (and they are never truly edge to edge)
An aircraft traveling mach 1.5 (not exactly hard these days) would only take 8 minutes to go edge to edge (256km distance)
Assuming an aircraft does the same in the other direction. Then thats only 4 minutes to pass each other. Let alone release weapons. About 3 minutes 30 by my reckoning for both sides to get and fire a 40km AMRAAM shot at each other.
Though diaganol angles do help a lot (362.04km from corner to corner)
Yes so US gets two premiums and a boat. And Germany and Sweden get additions that should have been in the last major. What a great update.
Praying for that J10B/C
what makes it harder to have a larger more “actual modern combat zone”, and is there actually going to be larger ones soon:tm:?
