again 12km range vs 40km SAM seems fair to me if you get that close its also not like they are hard to intercept they are incredibly slow

Yes but on some maps you’ll literally be able to get in close enough because of terrain having never shown yourself and not show yourself, just launch, that actually needs enemy CAP to defeat.
At least with LOBL FnF the SPAA has a chance to fire on you, which mind you if coming from an unexpected angle and done fast would still leave no chance for counterplay from the spaa.
