Soyuz’s ammo racks will be easily penned by Vanguard
Kinda funny that Gaijin described it as the best ship in game, but I think will actually be the weakest of the new 7.3/7.7s. Unless it has a stupidly short reload

Indeed. 25 vehicles is just on one single rank. You have also excluded all the vehicles added on all other ranks.
Maybe KGV could be the tree one, and PoW as Premium, or vice versa… or Howe, or something. Plenity of units to choose from!
I am not very interested on Nelson because of the slow reload, and Revenge… well, I don’t know. Doesn’t tell me anything, but may get it during a 50% sale to grind anyway.
ive heard that one before lol
Na we get 2 easy have KGV as the premium and Duke of York as the techtree (we can finally bully Scharnhorst)
Ive been rather enjoying Rodney the last few days. So id probably pick up one with a lot of AAA. Though a shame Gaijin denied Rodney’s 30 reload because “They felt its current 35 second reload was fine” despite primary sources
If I were to comment on this, it would be on the mere 2 vehicles added to Rank VIII… back in December 2024, Rank VIII was announced like War Thunder’s next big thing, yet it ended up leading to a 500 day period where only 2 new vehicles were implemented on it; Leopard 2A7HU and Namer Trishkon… and I would hardly label the Namer as Rank VIII anyway, leaving us to exactly 1 Rank VIII vehicle in well over a year :/
From what I’ve gathered, Vanguard and the KGVs seem sort of sidegrade-y (I’ve seen it argued both ways), but yes, I definitely want to see them added soon! They’re probably the most “important” class that’s been “skipped”.
Already can. Killed 3 easily last night in a single match in Rodney. Just aim for the Turret towers. If you set them on fire, its about a 75% chance of a kill
Would likely not change that much, because Ground wasn’t the only one to receive new low/mid rank stuff.
Would still be a massive imbalance between new ground and air additions in 2024
it was a joke because you know Duke of York was the one to sink Scharnhorst
Ah right, but it was actually Belfast that bullied Scharnhorst, she was retreating when the taskforce containing DoY intercepted her
imagine rank IX
Yeah! I have noticed lately that destroying and burning turrets is a semi-reliable way of destroying ships, as fires travel down the elevators to the ammo racks.
I like this. If you put down the fire quickly, you are fine; but if you ignore it or are too slow to address it, you are doomed. Nice mechanic both for gameplay and balance.
also a little poke, no regenerative steer for tanks that have it and we are talking about very modern tanks
OR armor that makes sense, and tanks not able to climb etc…
just small things that can really affect everything and top tier
Yeah, needs a little refinement I think, but its done a lot to address the insane imbalance at top tier we had for a while
Tanks having traction is a marketing lie.
true i forget im sorry, please don’t make traction and climbing more realistic any more
I’m talking about rank 7-8 that interests me.
This would not be correct. Many vehicles have been introduced into Rank VIII for ground. The Leopard 2A7, M1A2 SEP V2, T-90M, Challenger 3 TD, VT-4, and STRV 122B+ to name some.
Since then, we have been very clear the focus was on bringing aircraft up to speed with ground, which lagged significantly behind in terms of technology and age.
Ground was far from ignored in the meantime. New subtrees have been introduced, gap filling vehicles added and long awaited vehicles across the board came in. We do not only focus on top tier content.
