The additions I enjoy the most was the stuff 6.7 and under, the the TT for Ground out of the last number of updates.
Indeed, this was a rare moment where Gaijin implemented counterparts for every tree at once in a burst of common sense!
After seeing what they did with Hyuga and Scharnhorst, I was fearing they would repeat and implement only one of these ships every 3 months…

oh no dont get me wrong im happy that they did add an end of the line ship for everyone just sad they kinda went with one of the worst options for the UK, I wouldnt be surprised if a late war KGV is actually better then vanguard

Eh… A paper ship might have served us better but Vanguard is probably stronger than KGV due to Sueprcharged 15" shells.
But it is a shame we still dont have a KGV. She will be hardpressed with the current compression and should have been added 1+ years ago

Well it’s still a waste of development time from the “Naval team” for as long as the core gameplay has been ruined by the Arcade aiming changes introduced in the Hornet’s Sting update. Doesn’t matter what new ships are added if the gameplay just isn’t fun anymore. At least, even with all Naval’s problems, it could still be fun firing at other players and getting kills on them with the old aiming system which made it worth playing. Now it’s just awful.

Vanguard also has some armor improvements over KGV, which was extremely well protected already.
If it comes as a Premium, I will do anything in my power to afford it xD.

I didnt say dont play things that interest you/other way, I said that pushing a narrative of a lack of vehicles by cutting out 80% of the game isnt exactly accurate.

assuming gaijin models this and they dont just treat them like Hoods 15inch shells, and honestly as cool as vanguard as the last battleship is lion should be what we are getting since the soviets are getting a none nerfed Soyuz

Yeah, im not sure on specifics, so wont comment, btu I know she should be reasonably well protected, well at least the normal weakspots will be.
Im just hoping that they do her FCS justice and give her an edge in that regard.
I reckon it will be a Revenge-Class. Only reason I can think of as to why we’ve still yet to get one C&Ped over. Either that or Nelson. Id be annoyed if KGV was at least initially locked behind a paywall, especially if it was a late war fit ]
Same boat here. When it comes to Ground, I’m a Rank VIII enthusiast;
When Gaijin announced it back in December 2024, I was extremely hyped and looking forward to it… yet here we are, almost 500 days later, only TWO Rank VIII additions… so it has been extremely painful for me, as a Rank VIII Ground player.
At least now these wonderful Battleships feel like a nice treat to me, hahah. But still.
The game features eight ranks of planes, three ranks of helis, eight ranks of tanks, seven ranks of ships, and five ranks of boats. That’s thirty-one different rank/vehicle combos to give content to.
Obviously if you’re specifically interested in 2/31, you’re going to feel like you don’t get a ton of stuff.
(And this doesn’t even factor in nation splits on top of this.)
