No matter how good or needed the SPAA additions are, they are still vehicles that most casual people don’t know much about irl, with very little intense gameplay that will mostly just sit back from the action not doing much.
So yeah, good luck hyping that up for the casual or even new players. What sounds cooler in an ad that random people (that haven’t played WT before) see on youtube for example:
“In the latest update we have added a whole bunch of new vehicles from the T-72B3A to the F-2A to iconic ww2 battleships like the Yamato, Iowa and Bismarck.”
or
“In the latest update we have added a whole bunch of new vehicles from the T-72B3A to the F-2A to SAM systems like the IRIS-T SLM, Spyder AiO and CS/SA5.”
we both know which names will ring a bell to more people and thus attract more potential people.
Python-4 was never bought or adopted into service for the aussie hornets the ASRAAM won the duel because of being way more superior compared with the Python-4.
you wouldn’t want an electrician doing a pier and beam foundation job for certain devs.
i agree about players wanting a lot of reurbishment core gameplay but it just funny how long it all takes, and then the disregard of what the community wants, its feels like a standpoint of what the game needs to be using this year regardless of the smallest crowd asking for more than a crumb once in a while, its far less then a drip feed, feeding requires small consistent naval doesn’t have that…
it gets what it gets, and adjustments after years of asking, there has been some times that there has been actual adjustments within a reasonable time frame, but the majority of it is waiting.
