Well pretty stupid to add a vehicle with the weapon, and not add it, instead make a meal out of what essentially the identical capability of the 04A.
and more importantly, IRIS-T SLS suggests we may have a theme of DL+IR, this exactly matches 625E with FB-10A, they can make a great couple.

Yes, but when have they cared. Su27SKs never carried wing tip pylons, never used R27ER. Also 2S6 never was able to fire 9M311M as well, so not that difficult to just ‘make up’.
