Really it comes down to performance as long as that sam has minimum 15 to 20km its already enough range for majority of wt maps.
What matters is how hard it will be to evade and i guess also ceiling but most wont go above 10,000 meters anyway.
The IRIS-T SLM does beat the Spyder on maximum altitude.
