Fair but the US 18E being the third Hornet is much less of a leap than a random Hornet for Britain.
If it’s needed or not is another matter, because neither nations really need one anyway.

doubt it, there isnt much of a reason for a hornet to go to the UK tree now, well kinda more reason then germany (our ones would actually have FnF CAS so would add something to our top tier)

Which would be one of the weirdest decisions to add 2 swiss hornets. They would both be TT and at the same BR if they get amraams, but the second one would just be objectively better.
Its gajin, i see them adding it just cause they can. Specialy since germany doesnt have any fnf.

I think it has like 2 more missiles and a better radar than the 18C, at the cost of worse flight performance.
Harrier gets shot down in seconds, I barely get off 2 agms before pantsir kills me, it’s too slow

I don’t think there’s a need for it rn as they literally got a hornet last update
unlike other times the F-18 the swiss have doesnt have the ability to carry any guided A2G so unless gaijin wish to change something about the plane that it didnt have then it wont
And there isn’t any need for Britain to get a hornet either.
So with need out of the way, there is an US 18E in the previous leaks while the British hornets has at best a statement from gaijin that “they will consider it”, which makes it highly unlikely.
I’m not against it. I’m just saying that expecting the British to get a Hornet this update is a massive leap compared to expecting the US to get a 18E.
The ‘problem’ is that it doesn’t have HMS, and considering that almost all planes if not all have HMS, the Swedish F-18 is quite behind on that one. So they want one with HMS and A2G munitions.
We got an Indian OSA so nothing is as unlikely as that
