Yeah, missiles are much bigger which allow to have more fuel and maybe more powerful engines. Derbys wouldn’t do much on the Spyder AiO. They do have a Spyder XR and ultimately David’s Sling if I’m not wrong.

Very much doubt that the ceiling of the Type 03 is only just 10km, I wouldn’t trust info from sites with no sources for it, and 50km doesn’t seem accurate either. It was explained at the 59th anniversary commemoration of the Shimoshizu Garrison in 2014 that it would be possible to fire at aircraft above Yokohama and Mount Tsukuba from Shimoshizu, and based on reports of firing tests in the United States, it is believed that the range is more than 60 km.

max range differs depends on test environment, usually missile can fly longer.
Usually stuff like this happens when the value shifts (somehow) to an illegal value like -99 etc. Which the system autocorrects to the lowest legal value. In this case it may be 1970 lol
