Yeah…gaijin will be gaijin. Pretty much impossible to figure out their thinking process
Mhm just frustrating since Australia is in a right good spot to be a sub then we get lumped with India.
Kentucky was afloat and completed up to the first deck when she was finally cancelled in 1957ish. I’d wager we’ll probably get one of the BBG-1 proposals since it’s similar to Gneisenau’s case. Illinois could be interesting, though, especially if they wind up going for the proposed 8"/55 refit, where she gets 4 x 4 8"/55 RF guns.
Aye, if the estimated performances are correct, it’s quite likely that Montana will probably wind up being implemented since she’s a direct Yamato counter.
And one of those already has a what-if fit
Plus, this one isn’t even the finalized Amagi but rather the 1919 Preliminary design, albeit with time-traveling 1930s 410mm and 120mm turrets. Plus, a random seaplane grafted atop one of the turrets.
Frankly, I really don’t see the issue with the paper ships. They’re really nothing burgers, and IMHO, as long as they follow the blueprints to the letter, they’re a perfectly valid addition.
This is the only montana the US could get as its the only one that physically started construction, every other paper ship in game started construction at some point, hull wise, the montanas never did
If Gaijin is open to changing the standards to planned vessels, instead of just laid down, then the 1940s Montana could get in.
I personally wouldn’t mind.
Honestly sticking with laid down is the best choice given the absolutely insane plans nations other than the US had
They really shouldn’t. In a sense, H-41-44 were also planned, but I really don’t think any of those should show up. Same with A-150 she should stay in the realm of fiction as well.
It’d be nice to see Alsace, but I really don’t want to see H-41-44.
would be neat for things like Minotaur which technically was started as the guns were built and then she was cancelled so her guns were used for HMS Tiger
would be neat to see N3 as well
G3 was laid down we know that much but no pictures exist of it
It takes a couple of days to build a tank or plane once its plans are complete; it takes multiple years to construct a Battleship.
If a tank wasn’t made because it was cancelled or not even considered for construction, then implementing it would be adding a paper vehicle. But if a ship was being built for several months or even years until circumstances ended its construction prematurely, you can argue that the ship was NOT paper anymore.
In Gneisenau’s case, even more; the whole ship was built and all the turrets and guns too, they just weren’t fitted together, although it was actually planned.
im talking about N3 which mounted 3 triple 18 inch cannons with thicker armour (she fell to a mere 23 knots)
N3 wasn’t started unlike the g3 project
yeah, it was in response to a comment talking about planned ships that never got built?
Fair enough, sorry, tired slow brain
Guided missile battleship RF Moscow when
$120 pack premium (With these current prices of naval premiums)
np lol, one thing that would be neat is HMS lion (Tiger-class) as a tech tree ship so this really cool class isnt locked to a single event, and then later we could get the converted HMS Blake which lost 2 of the 3inchs and 1 6inch turret but gained 2 quad Seacat launchers and space for four helicopters
Funny enough Modern Warships is published by Gaijin.
You know what, add them all. It’ll help naval grow beyond 12 players.
