Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

I said

Not that it never happened.

Oh, my bad.

Anyway, i think we’ve got enough devblogs for a teaser, so we might get it today or on Monday with high prob

Typically, yeah. I thought we’d have the teaser already, but here we are. Sure, it could come earlier, however due to almost all of them coming on Thursday, unless confirmed by someone who knows something, I always assume they’ll come out then.

I’m not play ship in naval mode 4 years

Battleship in rank 7 refit late WW2 era or early cold war ?

At present, 6 Battleship rank VII add on cdk file

It’d be nice if new rank will reanimate naval mode. I like battleships

Is this cannon from the V2 fixed?

Just a shame you’ve got to toil away for countless hours in DD’s / CL’s / CA’s to actually experience them lol.

yeah, but i seen you defending the Kh-38MT with with claws and teeth in another topic lol

honestly, most people overestimated KH-38(or underestimated others, doesn’t matter)
it’s the best agm in game, but not something like a game changer.
compared to the worst MAV, it’s 60% faster, iog may help a little but not much. main problem is MAV’s heat warhead, but it’s MAV’s problem isn’t it?

well, its a supersonic ir guided agm that cant get intercepted (i know some AAs cant, dont know if others can). you can carry 6 and then spawn again in an su34 without any SP penalty because its an aircraft with different role.

I seen a lot of people spawning su30sm and then just ejecting after launch all the kh38MTs and spawning an su34 right after.

Its not overestimated agm, its pretty much OP.

it is same as any other missiles in code, just faster. unable to intercept should be a universal problem for every missile.

so what about F-16C and F-15E. US has playing like this for long time.

The F-2 was based on the SX-3, which was a proposed Agile Falcon development.

Though the F-2s wing was changed quite a lot, with the idea to improve maneuverability and control authority especially while carrying the heavy ASM loads. Unlike the initial SX-3 with Agile Falcon wing, the F-2 has larger elevator control surfaces on an extended tail, larger leading edge extensions and a differently shaped wing that, while having the same wing area, is a bit shorter and trapezoidal with larger trailing edge flaps.

So I’d somewhat comfortably say it’s as agile as it gets while still somewhat confined by the general design of an F-16

So, what’s everyone’s devblog predictions for today?

Hopefully a aircraft devblog, but probably a pre-order announcement for over the weekend

Without knowing anything, I think pre-order ship.

mavericks can be intercepted pretty easy, especially by pantisir.

not saying its not a problem too. Sure they have a very good payload too, but not even close to the MTs effectiveness. CAS is a real problem rn and should get nerfed by Spawn Points and minimum ground vehicles spawned or just making any modern OP CAS in game 1.3BR above top tier tanks, so you could have the option to not face them.

Gneisenau it is.

Yeah, gonna give people a grind option to think about for the weekend.

That’s already the dumbed down version too. The domestic FS-X had a far more ambitious system

pITPSaP (1)

Generally as far as the final F-2 is concerned, it was likely to keep the Japanese aviation development going and reuse technologies developed for the domestic FS-X after the project was forced to an untimely end by political pressure.
So essentially the same reason why a simple license production was refused, and why even the SX-3 design the F-2 was initially based on was altered near beyond recognition.

I remember JAS-39, Tornado, FA/18 and F-16C was competing, but this paper plane won, then US exert pressure to JP so they choose F-16C and modified it into F-2

It’s the pantsir’s problem, isn’t it? especially it’s ESA fire control radar. now we are getting some new things and this may change.

as I said, poor MAVs
