You know, when I got this exciting news, I went crazy with joy. But I wish we could get good ammo like I-DERBY ER, then I’d be happier!XD
This is what we deserve, and everyone knows that we have been trapped in Chaparral for years
I would absolutely love this one SPAA
They won’t do war production variants
Supposedly the model is outdated.
It would be nice to see 2024/2025 modifications to it though. Hardcase ERA, lfp ERA etc
Are you by any chance a time traveler from the year 2020?
Game is legit about to turn into Euro-Truck simulator vs Ace combat…
Spawn zones full of Trucks.
Doubt, France has nothing to do with it. Only UK and Italy, out of the game nations.
Yep. I hope they add stealth munitions soon to help clear the roads
No. But its in better state than Tor and is backed up by extremely strong CAS like 15E.
Yeh but it gets outranged by everything and uses optical tracking
That’s a very low bar to set
And it also faces extremely strong CAS like 15I, Rafales, EFT’s, Su30/34’s etc which helplessly dome it.
ADATS was already getting clowned by 27K’s as far back as Dec 2021. These days it’s completely out of its depth.
Maybe what today?
Teaser
Next week.
If it doesn’t come today, you’re right. It has never come in weekends.
So today or Monday
Next Thursday is when it will come.
Nah, even the J/APG-1 would be better.
According to this report on the RBE2AA the look up numbers should be 50% vs 5m^2 RCS @ 180km
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/4xETLTWyByNc
Meanwhile this analysis on the MELCO TRMs that were sent to the US, the look up numbers for the J/APG-1 should be 50% vs 3.5m^2 RCS @ 180km
https://x.com/Flankerchan/status/1908772794491691450
The J/APG-1 has a better resolution at the same range as the RBE2AA and the change to GaN with the J/APG-2 would make that gap even bigger. You have to remember that the J/APG-1 has 50% more TRM modules than the RBE2AA.
Edit
To put it in perspective the RBE2AA has a 50% chance of detecting an Su-27 sized target @ 180km while J/APG-1 has a 50% chance of detecting a MiG-29 sized target under the same conditions
