TBF this applies to like everything with the 120A. Frankly everything except the US F-15C and F-4F ICE should have 120Bs as their model.
EOTS and DAS capabilities, more refined sensor fusion, the whole HMD deal, actually getting its proper weaponry, all would matter in-game
First stealth fighter should come first, not something built with experience from it
On the other hand, F-15s are distinct A and C models, so Gaijin plan their separate additions before doing the necessary research to actually know about the specifics of these variants
The F-22A was upgraded and remained F-22A, same as the F-2A, so Gaijin plan with it as one aircraft and might only notice too late after starting research that there’s specific early variants to add sooner.
i mean theres nothing stopping them from modifying the one they add into a specific version to make room for a different one
Yeah, that’s why I’ll excuse it as a general game error. Hope they fix it at some point, even if it makes no functional difference in game.

At the end of the day, I think the point is, let’s not gatekeep each other on what things people should have. If you want your HMD on F-14A/F-15A, I’m fine with it (and it’s BR might need to be adjusted since of course you said, it was a balancing tool).
In this case, there’s no reason the F-2 shouldn’t get an HMD unless the one that was discovered was not for it and for something else
yeah F-22 is just the more notable one, hell most people’s first introduction to the F-2 is most like Ace Combat 7 but that is a rather niche game compared to something like War Thunder
If it comes first, they are not going to model it’s stealth even close to accurately.
However, I could see it coming in the short cycle between fall and winter updates where the F-35 would likely come in other trees at the same time, and the US getting it in the latter patch.
You know that wouldn’t surprise me as that’s the newest installment. I first knew of it with Ace Combat 0 back in the PS2 days but I thought it was a fake plane at the time, just a blue F-16 lol

I’m almost afraid for them to fix it at this point, and have an entire patch cycle where there are no stock ARHs because of their ‘fix’

We dont know that…it hasnt even been show in game yet…
AESA and PESA currently are impproperly modelled for the sake of balance, because with TWS mode it allows for alot more accurate TWS mode and allows a much faster firing sequence on targets since you can lock multiple targets at once

altho not a problem with F-2A Early, since no Fox 3’s for funny spam since its limited to Aim-7’s as its radar missiles
Yeah, not to mention F-22 may be the single biggest moneymaker in game history. I don’t think they will mess that up, too much for them to lose by screwing it over
