Well considering that Bismarck was laid down only a year before Yamato I wouldnt say it was superior. And to add to that basically everybody could make a better ship than Bismarck for the same displacement
If the heavy AA guns don’t have HE-VT, they might as well not exist, in WT
As for the smaller ones, having 70 vs having 140 (random numbers, not representative) doesn’t matter either, since nothing is going through to begin with

I would say that for the Bismark it counts since it never had the improvements that other boats had during the war and therefore has almost no AA defenses (if I’m not mistaken we’re talking about 30 or 40 cannons/machine guns, which would give the planes a chance)

Looking at the kill count of these ships is quite unrepresentative, the Bismark only destroyed one ship (okay it was a nice victory) and maybe a few planes but no more.

I would wager although it is not modelled Bismarks fire control system would poop all over Yamato.
