we still doing this turret basket myth? Turret baskets on the Abrams and Leo’s arent modelled as a module tied to the horizontal drive, the horizontal drive is still modelled as it was and isnt affected when the basket is shot at

and again I stated most nations that are getting SPAA were fine (china sweden and germany) they realistically should have gone to (italy, america and the UK)

Israel and Japan getting a much needed SPAA is good, but it’s criminal if Italy gets nothing.

Hell US and UK are in about the same level of need as Germany and in more need than Sweden to get a new SPAA, but it’s shaping up like they are not getting one.

They have already. Just not with arena, but then it might be years before we see that if the not named ‘war’ ends this year.

Its not. The basket is only modelled as an Xray module seperate from the horizontal drive. Shooting it doesnt break the drive, unless you hit the neck of the Abrams where the horizontal drive sits at which has been there since the Abrams was introduced

The majority of the floor is a component of the damage model. It even shows so in the article that talks about the turret baskets.
