Considering there were no images of the shimadzu HMD available openly online until I posted one last week, Its very likely gaijin didn’t know anything about it besides maybe that it existed if they really researched deep.
And I want it off the model because the F-2 doesn’t use it irl. Honestly, i don’t care if the F-2 gets HMD in game, it had a prototype (that wasn’t used outside of potentially an ADTW test). And provisions for its installment. However I don’t want an HMD it didn’t use to be visible on the model.
And also even the model being visible doesn’t 100% confirm it has it in game, as its just on all modern US pilot models, which is what the F-2 will use since japan uses US pilot models.
Also, with or without HMD it should be 13.7 anyways, the F-2 is definitely not 14.0 material.

the finnish one is physically not able to carry A2G ordinace bc they removed the computers calculating the imapct for ordinance
When talking to Smin it was stated the F-18C was chosen over the MLU 1 because they wanted a larger focus on uniqueness. MLU 2 would be on par with the current US Hornet. Instead gaijin chose the F-18C because they wanted it to be unique by having a worse RWR, no HMD, and no A2G yet left the historical Aim 9L’s.

thats because at the very least the UK and Germany had brimstone if italy didnt get their EFT would be completely useless for CAS
all 3 have options for 5th gen IR missiles so I doubt they will cross them over (it would make the EFT mean as sin tho)
