We know what is coming up in the first half of this year. But as we don’t know what the theme of the next update is it could be the rest of the leaked 4.5 gen aircraft or it could be more ground focused etc.

Yeah the teased Su-30 and F/A-18 defo, but as for ground maybe not since they want to add more sub’s

What would realy help would be an system for the Map rotation, which does not allow the same map over and over again…
Maybe max 2x the same map in a row, but after that there would be an guarantee for a diffrent map
So what you are saying is that only the US and USSR should get strategic bombers because they are the only ones to launch cruise missiles from their bombers?
No, seriously, War Thunder maps aren’t big enough to justify adding cruise missiles, and even if the maps were bigger, there still wouldn’t be any targets that would warrant the use of cruise missiles.
There are more than enough strategic bombers that couldn’t even carry cruise missiles that would be at a low enough BR to still work.

We don’t know anything about the upcoming update or their plans for the first half of this year. All we know is that they seem to be planning to add the vehicles featured on the decal over the course of this year.
Avro Vulcan should come too, and Chinese bomber but since no one but Russia China and US uses the modern ones they should be only ones to get the modern ones
Once you get to lower BR then it would mostly be just US and Russian bombers which apparently you don’t like
While true that we don’t know specifics on the first update yet, we can make some educated guesses.
Since the US and USSR did not get new top tier additions last update, they will likely get the F/A-18 and Su-30 respectively this update.
We also know from the previous Covert Disclosure that the next one will be about new top SAM systems, and since the Covert Disclosures usually correspond with an upcoming update, that will likely be the next one too.
The SEAD game mode has been datamined for a long time now and will likely use the heavy SAM assets (something else we know Gaijin has been working on for a while) so it’s very probable that it would release alongside the new SAM vehicles.
Obviously speculation, but informed speculation.

What use case would that be? Coz SEAD isn’t done using cruise missiles.
It’s been seen with Aim-9L/M missiles, which could potentially be just CATM-9s. It’s also been seen with rockets. However this proves it’s somewhat armed. Despite this, they don’t have any countermeasures fitted to them, nor use gunpods of any kind.
Another thing gaijin could do, is give it the flares found on other M-346 aircraft similar with what was done to the F-5s. They could also allow it to receive the belly mounted gunpod other M-346s use, similar with what has happened with the Thailand Alpha Jet TH. Finally on top of that, if they really want to, they can give it Python 4/5s, which would likely be excluded for balancing reasons, but it’s something that could happen regardless. If it’s compatible with Aim-9s, it’s very much compatible with Pythons.

Still possible, modern ECM systems like the ones you’d find on an upgraded B-52, B-1, or B-2 could locate enemy AA and launch a cruise missile at GPS coordinates. JASSM-ER also has IIR terminal guidance to make sure it hits

We don’t have ECM yet and they don’t seem to be working on that either.
Also, what would even be the point of a SEAD gamemode if they just let you spam cruise missiles from a strategic bomber?

I’m not sure what you mean from this response. We already have early WW2 battleships in-game, my post was referring to BVVD confirming that in 2025 Gaijin will add “the most famous and powerful battleships.”
