Its really frustrating how much effort they are putting into denying the Typhoon a competitve AGM but do nothing to mitigate the Rafale or Su-34
Its especially annoying that the Typhoon didnt even get its historically accurate Brimstone 2s
I love how the US makes no middle ground for FnF missile. It either feels like your throwing a brick at some ranges while things like the JAGM-MR would have to much range lol.
I mean if they gave every aircraft there complete ATG capability the F15E would team wipe with one spawn.
There is also AGM-114R-4. But I don’t know for sure if helicopters can use it, so far only MQ-9
But it still gets 6x AGM-65Ds.
What they’ve done to the Typhoon is like limiting the F-15 to 6x AGM-65Es or AGM-65As for “balance reasons”
20 GBU-53, and the 2 tested JSOW (let’s say they are AGM-154B) each JSOW carries 24 IIR guided HEAT sub munitions. So would be 48 potential kills, and then 20 more from the SDB 2 so 68 enemies destroyed or severely damaged
If it’s an F-15EX, you can either bring 4 more AMRAAM or a pair of AARGM-ER on top of that
The F-15E is already heavily limited in a2g for balancing reasons
I’m not trying to say the F15E is bad but there are a lot of aircraft nerfed.
Which is why the full capacity and capability will never be added lol. The USA won’t need new tanks if that is added in the current meta.
USA tanks will get a little better but there will be a point that the CAS is undefeatable. If they don’t add Theater defense systems or drone/small weapon interception capabilities or vehicles or way bigger maps it’ll be bad.
Just because I said this doesn’t mean it should be added or I agree with the action of it.

Given that they didnt even remove the IOG from the KH-38 or AASM for balance. Its really annoying that the Brimstone is limited to SAL only and limited to the earliest possible version which has less range than any other top tier AGM in game at the moment.
My wording was chosen carefully. “We all want to be able to take part in…”. Implying it would be a seperate game mode that doesn’t harm anyone who prefers quick and casual matches. I doubt many people would oppose that.
They said they were considering to add rewards for missile intercept in CM report. So I don’t thinks that’s too far off.
Personally, I think the next leap in CAS will be the addition of ARM, then SPICE 250 and GBU-53’s, then better strike drones, then radar guided being added, then stuff like SLAM-ER, and finally cruise missiles like JASSM
A more limited number of better missiles would have been so much better
They said they wouldn’t be adding ARM for the time being, so you can scratch that already.
The actual next leap for CAS is going to be EW/ES according to the CM Covert Disclosure 4
I know this is random, but what would you think about adding a miscellaneous aircraft tree to hold stuff like drones of all types and things like cargo aircraft and AWACs should they ever become playable

Can I just say that this is extremely disappointing news. Enduring Confrontation is too good of a game mode to keep locked behind Simulator controls and view.
I have vertigo, and cannot play Simulator due to the view restriction. It is so disheartening to hear the developers of a game I’ve been invested in for 10 years have zero interest in a longer-form game mode for players who can’t stand simulation.
I am incapable of correctly expressing how upset, and disheartened I am to hear that. The one thing this game needs is smaller teams, bigger maps, longer games, more to do, and more variety. I do not care about que times.
That entirely depends on what kinds of ECM/ESM capabilities they add.

Yep exactly. There’s a very small chance that we get both a teaser and a dev stream tomorrow. But more than likely, it will be after one full week of devblogs, next week Friday (Feb 28) as dev streams are almost always on Fridays.
