Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

I can’t lie, I want it simply because the lineups would be utterly cracked.

Imagine having

  • Leopard 2A8
  • Strv 122
  • M1A2 SEPv3
  • K2PL + K2 BP
  • F-16V
  • Rafale
  • AH-1Z or AH-64E
  • possibly either the EF or F-15EX as well…

Utterly disgusting lineup

Honestly, as a Modern MBT enthusiast, that tree would be crazy for me, hahah.

Leopard 2A8, M1A2 SEPv3, M1A1 FEP, K2PL…

But, that being said, I don’t think I will be grinding any more tech trees anytime soon. The China grind is burning me out so badly, even with 2 Premiums and 1 Talisman. Grind has got much better since 2023, compared to how it was before the roadmaps; but it’s still too long and heavy for my body.

I mean, what else would you expect from a tree that gets half a continent as a subtree

What do you think of adding more helicopters and better strike drones?

Adding drones to the heli tree would be pretty cool

There’s only a few helicopters I would like to see atm (yes, even some US ones, despite the size of their tree), but I would actually prefer seeing some more drones so that the nations that have their own strike drones can get them

That is quite simply your opinion, and tbh I don’t put much value in it. Poland is very much like India where they develop domestic solutions with licenced production filling the gaps.

Some more notable developments Poland could bring is it’s collection WW2 designs, with the top tier being made up of modernised soviet designs (PT-16/17 etc), licensed production (K2PL) and imports (K2, M1, & Leopard 2A4 & 2A5).

Combined with Ukraine it would be competitive even at top of the BR range with very few capability gaps, over all a similar tree to China in terms of verity and such.

MQ-9B, MQ-9, MQ-1C ,and my favorite the MQ-20

Now that I think of it that could work pretty well

Wasn’t what I was getting at originally but good idea

Uh, guys… did you really get THAT disgusted by the sight of the Leopard 2A4 with Kontakt-1 ERA that it was necessary to flag-spam the post after 5 minutes?

I mean, I get that the thing looks odd, but… come on.

I mean it’d be a neat way of adding new strike drones to the game

A jet drone would be very interesting, for sure.
But I was thinking more about stuff like the Milkor 380 or the Elbit Hermes

Helicopters are a difficult topic, hahah.

On the one hand, fire-and-forget missiles are overpowered, plain and simple.

On the other hand, we DO already have some helicopters equipped with these.

Therefore, the only logical course of action is to provide every nation with helicopers equipped with such missiles for the sake of balance; because the only thing more unfair than an OP weapon, is for this weapon to be exclusive to a few nations only while others do not have anything equivalent.

That’s also why I support Brimstones getting a FnF mode too. Would they be OP? Maybe. But so are KH-38s and whatever Rafale’s weapon of doom is called, yet here they are. So it would be fairer if the Brimstone-equipped nations got something similar instead of what they have currently got.

That being said- all of this should only come ALONGSIDE with more capable SAM and SPAA systems for every nation. Last thing we need now is for C*S to get even more powerful while we still don’t have true land counters to these.

I don’t think there currently would be a way to give all of the nations in-game access to Helis with FnF

Though Gaijin could work on making the Hellfire Laser+IOG work properly…

Well;

Currently:
-Germany: PARS 3 LR
-Italy: Spike ER
-France: Spike ER
-Israel: Spike ER

Could receive:
-U.S: AGM-114L
-U.K: AGM-114L
-Japan: AGM-114L
-Sweden: AGM-114L
-China: AKD-21

I don’t know about Russia, but, honestly, Vikhrs are still quite oppressive and seem to be doing fine compared to AGM-114Ks, for example.

This tree would be crazy. I’d be so happy if they added it. Maybe one day…

You forgot about this guy.
Hint: Look at the tail

HJ-10 is ground launched wire guided, isn’t it?

There is the AKD-21 though

7 out of 10 is a good enough quota I guess

However, I’m pretty sure the AGM-114Ks could work fine if the Laser+IOG was better modelled

Only the AFT-10 variant is wire guided, but yeah, all HJ-10s are ground launched

That being said, it would be a massive disservice to the HJ-10 if it was modelled like a basic SACLOS or FnF ATGM, considering how many sensors and guidance methods it does support (though it wouldn’t be unusual for Gaijin to just butcher it)
