Yes it’s modular. No there isn’t an IIR version of it yet. So far it’s just the Laser. SALH and beam riding is the two versions of it. Though I think it can switch between the two. I might be wrong. Go look at Devil’s Suggestion

I wish- but, lately, leaks come only after at least the first dev blog, so I don’t know.
Regarding F-18, I wonder why there’s such a big fuss about it: I’m not an air person, so maybe I am mistaken, but… aren’t the Eurofighters, F-15E, Rafale, etc, just plain better in practivally every way except maybe turning, which isn’t extremely important in the current meta?
Unless it can carry 12x AIM-120s as I believe to recall. In that case, it could be HOT.

you can consider it’s flight performance similar to JF-17, but with 10 aim-120.

In the Chinese forum, someone made an inference: this account is an internal account, so it is explained by default that all Chinese high-end vehicles. These Premium Vehicles plus the starting vehicles are 38. That is, the developers don’t play China at all - they know how bad China’s top is.

To me, AV-8B+ will never be topped, hahah.

It will probably get the Strike role ingame, pretty sure they used AGM65s on them and the Brits have no claim over the F/A-18 as of right now.
Only F-18 that is anywhere close to a strike aircraft is the F-18D’s kf the Marine Corp, but they carry an identicle loadout to the other Hornets
