Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

3Р89 "Palmtree" ("Палаш"/"Пальма") Russian CIWS prototype testing ...

Bruh, what does it matter whether it’s a girl, a boy or a femboy… when it’s an animal!?

Like, being an official mascot, I would guess it’s meant to be a cute-looking representation and all, but… not sure it’s meant to be looked at with other connotations xD

EDIT: who am I to judge though- as long as no harm is done… live and let live is the way!

You mean AK-630? or maybe 230 idk

Id honestly say these are considered a CIWS system as i believe irl (obviously not in game) that was their function

First, those are not Vulcans. not all gatling/chain guns are Vulcans

Second, CIWS (Close In Weapon System) can be land based, they aren’t all on ships

Third, just because its not a Pantsir S1 doesn’t mean it isn’t a Pantsir system

that doesn’t matter, ciws are not defined as naval equipment but are just usually used there…

Russian Pantsir-M CIWS 3D model | CGTrader
rotary cannon ? the pantsir ing game has 2 quad barrels

Listen man, dont yuck their yum.

They might be in to that.

Most likely AK-630

Because it’s a naval variant and the Russian navay already uses AK-630, and since they are on a ship they can carry more ammo so it makes up for fire rage

vulcans are american 20-30mm gatling guns its not a standardized term

yes i realize that now hence why i said rotary cannon

Really, it’s just the 20mm, the 25 and 30mm have different names

The Pantsir system isn’t defined by what kind of barrel it uses for the guns

im not sure if it can hit a missile but definatly can intercept planes

pantsir in game isnt a ciws its a different model

AK-630 was used to intercept missiles and the likes

does it spit enough rounds out to hit is my question

It is a CIWS, doesn’t matter if it has rotary guns or quad barrels, doesn’t matter if it is on a ship or a truck.
