Canadian 2a6 should be upgraded for thermals as well if i remember right.
2a4m can already got the upgrafes as well.
But the canadian 2a6 lacks any armor upgrade besides mine protection

Yes, I hope we get effective and capable Fire-and-forget SAMs for Top Tier.
SPYDER, SLAMRAAM, Type 81 (C)'s radar homing missiles, etc.
When it comes to China (slowly growing into one of my favourite nations), I don’t know if HQ22, HQ9 or HQ19 would be FnF, but I hope so. EVERYONE needs high-end FnFs.
FnF is the only way to counter tree huggers, which is the new C*S meta.

You’ll be that either way if you sit in a heli while there are enemy planes up, doesn’t matter what kind of weapons you carry.
And? You either engage with them by baiting out their missiles or you leave your heli. If you can’t be bothered to do that you’ll die to other SAMs just the same.
Yeah, that is exactly why helis shouldn’t have access to FnF missiles like that.

I would climb and nuke as well, but there still are people that go low and try strafing instead and depending on the map that can work just as well.

It’s impossible to counter C*S like this without FnFs… they pop for 0.3 seconds at ranges too close to engage and get 6 free kills within 5 seconds before going back to hugging the trees. It’s the new meta.

they are too big and too powerful. if looking for similar things, I think Type 625e or the newest version of LD35 are ok, both with IR FNF FB-10A missile. or Yitian ll, with both ARH and IR FNF missile(should be TY-20I/R).

Odds are theyre not actually tree hugging in the literal sense, rather the line of sight AA gets is just ass.
Because i cant see someone marking targets that fast to get 3-5 kills so fast in a low alt run.
It’s hard to counter that even with FnF SAMs at times with how much Stingers love to just do their own thing.
