Yup, i got lol penned at about 89 degrees on merkava. even saved the hit simulation.
Perfect, then all that needs doing is to remove the AMRAAM from the OCU, and if they really want to, add an ADF foldered underneath, or just leave it as the Gripen and F-15 are fine for 13.7 AMRAAM slingers
I assume there is a bug report on this?
I have no issue with 105mm rounds either
Just the Radar is wrong and it shouldnt be able to carry AIM 120s on it.
only with the EMLU upgrade it got access to AIM 120s and the electronics to actually fire these.
i would like to get these removed and slap it at 13.0 instead.
i still wonder to this day where the diffrence between pylons on the moving landing gear and pylons on the moving sweep wing aicrafts like the F111 and Tornados is.
for me they just move in diffrent directions and for the “but the missile gets lost when the gear is destroyd” thing, i see no diffrens there to a missile on a wingtip lost to over Gs or bullets.
Already reported, yes.

There’s other reports on it too, such as:
Wrong radar
This one needs to be remade with more sources, but “APG-66S” is only based on a type, the Thai OCU should use APG-66(V)1
And there is still missing GBU-16, AGM-65G-2, KGGB and wing kit equipped GBU-12 that don’t have any reports, but could be reported going forward.
Now that you put it like that, we do already have missiles on variable geometry wing and can lose them on wingtips, what actually would be the issue with gear cover pylons?
4 Sparrows was the F-16AJ, which was intended to mount 4 to match the loadouts of the F-14 and F-15. The YF-16 actually tested Sparrows on all hardpoints, which would mean up to 8 of them.
Though since it had no radar, they would all be unguided.
But judging by this they had no idea what the F-16AJ even was…
First they call the YF-16A Sparrow testbed “prototypes” of the AJ, which is weird since not only was it completely unrelated, but also only one aircraft, not multiple.
They also go by the F-16ADF not adopting the gear door pylons as a reason, though that was another completely unrelated variant that is a decade newer and built to different specifications. Japan was looking for an air superiority fighter, specifically one to compete with the F-15 and F-14, that wasn’t what the ADF was and also wasn’t why other nations decided to buy the ADF.
How it “most likely would’ve looked” has absolutely no basis here. In fact, the aircraft in game doesn’t fit the minimal requirements of the competition. This is a weird case of assuming all nations are looking for the same aircraft.
“Why haven’t others modified the F-16 like that?”
Either they were fine with the F-16 capabilities, which Japan was not, or similar to Japan themselves, bought other aircraft instead.
Here they seem to assume the YF-16A Sparrow testbed is the F-16AJ, otherwise radar wouldn’t even have been a question. The AGM-65 is also weird to mention considering they were mentioned in the F-16AJ brochure (literally the only source on the plane) and Japan actually does operate them on the P-1, so this shouldn’t even be a question. The brochure also mentions GBU-8 that are on the US Block 10, but somehow forgotten on the AJ.
Als the part about “meeting requirements” is rich when the 4/4 IR/SARH loadout was a hard requirement at the time, but was deliberately removed here.
Didnt know that, i only knew about the 4 “testetd” on the YF-16 for the AJ proposal
Will we get a leak this week?
possibly, we’re expecting the first devblogs are likely late next week or early the week after.
It’s about the time we’d start to see leaks I think
Food for thought, the reliable Chinese leaker posted his leaks on February 22nd, 2024. So if we go by that pattern, we still have a few weeks to go.
I hope that leaker doesnt delay the leak like last time. Btw what is the name of the leaker’s account?
I think they were around the start of Feb in 2023, they’re usually around the same time we see the first devblogs iirc
Now there are other leakers, but whether they leak it earlier or if it might be in riddles, who knows.
There was no delay.
We’ll just have to wait and see I suppose, I’d expect the best we’re going to get next week is some of the less interesting devblogs on Thursday or Friday, maybe they’ll announce a new premium or something, they tend to start off slow, it’s probably not till w/c 17th that we start to see anything interesting
Early feb is unlikely I would expect at least 2 more weeks but probably more
i won’t Suprise me if Germany get the Bismarck First.
It is neither incapable of detonating Russian/Chinese ammo nor is it the worst performing top tier round by a large margin. KE-W, OFL 120 F1, 3BM60, and DTC10-125 perform similarly.
