You said yourself the correct gripen radar isn’t AESA, so like I said, US is the ONLY ONE with AESA being held back
I’m not saying the US is the only nation with better radar being held back in general i am saying AESA specifically is denied to current US stuff ingame
Realistically it doesn’t need AESA, id rather see vehicles missing equipment they used in service historically before later historical upgrades.

F-15C ingame actually used an AESA before the JHMCS upgrade it has in-game
So it did use AESA in service historically
So it used AESA before any other radars were mounted? Or is it more like the F5C and F15A getting CM’s they never had but other models did?

- No, F-15C’s did, and currently do have AESA radars

I dont care about what they currently have, whatver they mounted when first in service should be what should be added.

And our F-15C in WT is from 2003 while the AESA (AN/APG-63v2) entered service 2000
And the Gripens in warthunder aren’t real so whats new? Again the F15C should be the version when it first entered service. Save the better radar for later models like the E.

I simply gave a suggestion towards the E, we never got a F14A late maybe we might but i think its more likely that gaijin adds an early and maybe (small chance) we get a late, at which point if we get a Late model C then sure why not give it that, id rather see vehicles with substantial change be added than just amalgams like the gripens

The US also doesn’t need it yet, and at least the radars you have are historically accurate, unlike the Gripen
We dont have Gripen C’s we have Gripen A’s with MS20 CAS armament and thats the only thing they have from the C’s
