It would, but currently the only vehicles I can think of which would massively change scope would be them, or something like CVRT Streaker with an MLRS on the back of it where the entire turret comes off. As the last vehicle was British, I can see a South African event vehicle being a tempting choice, esp given Brits keep complaining about SAMs while wanting SAMs xD
Given that its “big enough change to be the hint”, I am guessing a complete role change like G6 HVM over say, an autocannon to a main gun change.

Yeah, the HVM was my first guess as well. The hint definitely sounds like a vehicle variant that swaps a gun for missiles/rockets or vice versa.
It wouldn’t be the first event SPAA tho, that title goes to the (now hidden) Phong-Kong T-34 in the USSR tree
It seems like that is probably a one-off, except as a part of premium lineups, we are yet to see missile SPAAs as event or high-tier premiums. This could be indicated by the fact that despite the 2S38 being designed and designated as SPAA, its still classified as a light tank.
@Smin1080p_WT can you say if with the OE F3 ammo on the PzH 2000 will be changed to something usefull? Because currently the OE F3 is an tier 4 Mod and also the worst HE round the PzH has…

- F/A-18A would more than likely be 12.3 or 12.7 (assuming 9L/7M), definitely not as low as 12.0
- F/A-18A+ would be 13.0 (assuming 9M/7M)
- F/A-18A+ would be 13.3 or 13.7 (assuming 9M/120A)
- F/A-18C would be 13.7 (assuming 9M/120A)
- F/A-18E/F would be 14.0+ (assuming 9X/120C-5)

actually original bmpt/bmpt-2 is based on T-90 hull. BMPT-72 is based on T-72 hull though.
Well, thats actually a good take, the XA-180 exists and I almost forgot about it.

OE F3 is pretty standard for most tanks. I mean the Vidar doesn’t getbits better shell so i assume its for balancing? Or maybe so the type 99 has 1 thing going for it lol

The thing with the OE F3 is that it is a tier 4 modification, yet the default shell of the PzH 2000 is flat out better
M107? Same with the Vidar. (Comparing the closest vehicle performance wise) iirc OE F3 had around 10kg explosive mass before it got changed and was lower and lower

The Chinese TT is rotten and doesn’t want people to play this TT. As a country with the second strongest army in the world and the strongest ground forces, it is so bad in the game… Maybe that’s Gaijin’s sense of humor

Not really, aside from top tier they are pretty fun. Air wise ive only heard good things so im looking forward to grinding them once im done with France. Though id like to see more domestic Chinese SPAA and LT’s
But in reality China’s modern ground forces are the strongest in reality, but the weakest in the game. China’s 9.0/11.0 team is strong, but it can’t hide the huge shortcomings of the top.

China definitely isnt the weakest in game. That goes to Italy or Isreal. Id say if the armor was revamped for the ZTZ’s and MBT 2000 it’d be more appealing to people
If you are only talking about tanks, then you are right. But let’s not forget, there are also planes in land warfare. The two countries you’re talking about are much more powerful than China’s current top CAS.
