In my experience of living in both of these countries, most Aussies care very little about what happens in the UK, and I would say a majority actively dislike the Royal Family being the head of state due to the drain on resources for very little return.
Especially from the First World War, there is a sentiment that ANZAC soldiers were basically used as fodder by British commanders. The truth is probably more complex, but there it is.

I think the argument for CAN/AUS vehicles going to UK is stronger for two reasons.
The obvious geopolitical connections between UK, Canada, and Australia. They have been allied through the entire time period War Thunder depicts. The same is not true of Germany.
Adding these vehicles to the UK tech tree would give new gameplay styles not already available in the tree. UK lacks both a top tier wheeled and tracked IFV.
Germany has a ton of export deals for those vehicles, why not draw on some of the other ones besides Canada and Australia?
