Sub trees aren’t just added solely for top tier. They are added to gap full across the board and some offer alternative vehicles that otherwise wouldn’t be possible in the tree.
In the case of South Africa, it provides many unique vehicles and opened up the possibility of the Gripen where Britian otherwise would have had no options for some time.
F-22 can mount external hardpoints for to carry additional Aim-120’s or Aim-9 sidewinders, saying it wasn’t designed nor it cant carry is nothing but false information.

i believe their is a gap for uk tree’s top tanks consider even the best uk tank

Pretty much. The JA37C we got was supposed to be an older variant but we players complained the lack of flares so it was made a 37C so we could have flares.
And yeah, the T-33A can go to many tech trees officially. More trainers the better; it’s just not going to be particularly grand.
I wish I could rumor trainers for War Thunder, but I can’t convince myself that they’re coming in any given update.
