Wtf? The thing can barely hit stationary helicopters at 5km, any other SPAA in the game from 10.3 or later can do that better than the OTOMATIC.

Hopefully we’ll get removeable wing tip tanks and optional drop tanks on all applicable aircraft someday
I am reported Banshee tanks. But F9F cannot remove them, they are part of the wing.
Even if you could, I’m not sure you’d want to, as the wingtip tanks increase the roll rate.
They are just ugly.

Cougar is the swept wing one
Panther is straight wing one
EDIT: Wait… I may have misunderstood the point of post
I should’ve been more clear maybe, but what I really meant was: I prefer how the swept wing Cougar looks, partly because it doesn’t have the wing tanks of the straight wing Panther

Can’t uninstalled drop tank wingtips
Sadly, I don’t know F-84 Thunderjet installed or uninstalled wingtip fuel tank on modification

They can be removed on the ground but can’t be jettisoned in the air
F-84 can jettison its tanks in the air like F2H
Interesting fact: The wing tips on the A21’s arent just fuel but were also used to test carrying napalm which could be dropped. This suggestion has never been added.
Also on one of the US 7.x jets equiping rockets removes the wingtip fuel tanks, dont remember which one.
