Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Shouldn’t it be three? boat and ship are used interchangeably.

Yes, it has limitations, it doesn’t play well in the remote, it’s unstable, so I didn’t grind the SU27 series quickly, waiting for the follow-up advanced models

Probably using ship for bluewater and boat for coastal in that case

actually, never mind, the two are coastal

I mean that’s basically what is happening with sub-trees currently. What’s being argued is for sub-trees to have the full 5 lined space they need(as most if not all the sub-trees we have gotten can fill 2+ lines) over the restrictive single-lined space they have.

The difference is far more unique stuff would end up being researchable rather than just premium and events with this system will also allow Gaijin to C&P all they want without taking away the unique stuff.

F22 older than block 5 eft

Stealth aside the f22 is better but not a crazy amount better than the eft, so when eft added, that puts f22 in reach

Ok the way I see Canada is that,

If the nation that built that tech it will go to that nation if it needs it = example the Canadian Leo’s.

If there is a domestic option available and the country doesn’t needs it and Britain needs it more, it goes into Britain = example Skink and the ADATS.

I’d assume neither, or both, depending on how you see it.

The “main” tree would no longer really exist, with all foldered nations basically being equal. However having still easily the most option compared to all current and rumored subtree nations the nations that are main trees now would still get a majority of the content.

This would be somewhat in line with subnations now still. Even if they would have more space for additions, so would the main nations.

Spoiler

I lost count, but a lot.

The MiG-29SMT is based on the MiG-29M, which had it’s first flight in 2005.

Introduction/first flight dates mean jack at all

22 will be way better in BVR
and on level in WVR
at least if consider weapons until 2000s

Therea re probably more vehicles coming this update, since this would otherwise be a very tiny update.

I know, I said it would be in reach after the early eft are added, later AESA eft could compete in bvr

No.
SMT is based on 29S, which is very late 80s.
but actually SMT we have in game - 2016. 9-19R

So the Otomatic is superior to 15km SAM in fighting off the long range guided weapons thrown around by helicopters and CAS aircraft at that BR?

Even my Type 81 (C) is regularly outranged, I doubt cannon armed SPAA has it any better…

not really.
F-22 still will be superior, because of stealth, which will greatly limit range of detection

Right, I suppose I put it wrong.

The SMT is an upgrade for 9.12s and 9.13s using the enhancements of the MiG-29M

To add to this for me the Canadian Hornet doesn’t belong in the US since there another pool of content it can get it’s hands on.

Plus the US is more likely gonna get a squadron vehicle of the Australian Hornet and a premium Tomcat or an F-16.

So by that logic the Canadian Hornet will most likely go to Britain as it ticks the boxes of the US got domestic options plus it also get it’s own premium options.

Eft could have the edge in wvr with iris t and be able to hit back with meteors, aim120d and 9x would balance 22 against iris t and metoer
