ok then explain to me why the swiss would have to Modify their F-18s extensively to use Mavericks when the regular F/A-18 can use them without modifications
Die Integration der Maverick-Lenkwaffen in die zu beschaffenden Kampfflugzeuge F/A-18 wäre technisch möglich, würde aber hohe Kosten verursachen.
I think if the swiss hornet comes gaijin will know if they could fire a2g weapons. They have offices in germany and could easily get the information from the swiss goverment.
If they add a unique swiss plane then they probably were already in switzerland for modeling
they say their Hornets are technically incapable of using them and Modifying them for ground attack just as the Hunters were could result in an unlovely split of powers because the Hornets just barely fulfill the Air policing and Air defence role
That part is a mistranslation on your part. What they say is not that the Hornet can barely fulfill the air Policing but rather that they need the hornets to be barely able to fulfill the air Policing. As in if they didn’t buy the hornets they wouldn’t have the capabilities and capacities to do it
I meant that gaijin has german speaking employees for example mike and has a office not that far away from switzerland. It’s certainly easier than getting information about a japanese vehicle because they are simply far away and there is a bigger language barrier.
Because the Hornets they bought were only ever intended to be used for A2A and so don’t have the software and maybe even hardware to use Mavericks.
As I said nowhere could I find that the US prohibited the Swiss Hornets from having A2G. I said that the Swiss didn’t want it so they don’t have it.
